This collaboration between Christian Fennesz and award-winning composer Ryuichi Sakamoto creates a new synergy between acoustic piano and electronic & electric guitar music. Sensitive, ambient soundscapes by Fennesz counterbalance and manipulate Sakamoto's elegant piano phrasing, creating vivid dialogues between melody and texture, exploring the idea of electronic music as an inspiration for new musical structures.
Their joint project has led to one of the most fruitful unions in current contemporary music.
