Rolling Dog are a five piece indie/alternative/electro band that originate from a small seaside town near Portsmouth. The band consists of brothers Matt, vocals and Sam Woolway, drums with Rob Mason, guitar, Kevin Jubb, keys and Jack Stanton, bass. They play a unique blend of electronic fueled guitar pop with what Matt describes as 'excitable, quintessentially English vocals.'
The bands first release Fire! Fire! Fire! is the perfect introduction to a band that's created a large following since strong supports slots with Kasabian, Boy Kill Boy and Chikinki. 'Fire! Fire! Fire!' is a devilishly addictive slice of guitar pop - driving beats and funky, punky guitars overlaid with the unique and infectious vocals of Matt Woolway and infused with more hooks than a champion fisherman's tacklebag. The single is backed by the B-side 'Alligators.' Both songs are energy driven and draw on influences both musically and content wise from early Blur, Pulp and a whole range of forward thinking guitar acts such as The Rapture.
