2004, Slowdance
A band like no other, Detroit's Rescue bring a potent mix of intricate guitars, start/stop breaks, and personal vocals to this mini-LP, "Flamingo Minutes," the band's third release in as many years. Recorded with longtime producer Mark Haines, the band was able to take a break from their relentless touring (close to 200 shows in the last year alone) and focus on the intricacies of their new material. While the band's youthful restlessness shares a likeness to BRAID, their blend of complicated song structures and heavy choruses bring comparisons to COHEED AND CAMBRIA.
