Flare

There are five artists sharing the name of Flare:

1) Flare is a popular Croatian rock band, founded in 1998. by siblings Anda Maric (lead vocal) and Jeronim Sabolcz (Jerko) Maric (guitar).

2) Flare are songwriter/vocalist LD Beghtol and multi-instrumentalist Charles Newman. Based in NYC they blend classic pop with experimental, classical, country music and noise. Flare have released two albums to date 'Bottom' & 'Hung'. Beghtol's vocals attracted the attention of Stephin Merritt (Magnetic Fields). Beghtol sings lead vocal on three of the tracks on the Magnetic Fields' 69 LOVE SONGS.

3) Flare is also a pseudonym of Ken Ishii, the Japanese Techno artist.

4) Flare is a norwegian Indiepop-band playing music in the vein of Suede and Kent. The band from Bergen consists of Tiam Dee (Vocals & Programming), Chris Star (Guitar, Bass, Synth, Back Vocals) and Baz Owen (Drums). In may 2005 Flare released their debut album 'In Search of Fame' in Norway. They have toured the UK four times and China once to fantastic feedback. In 2008 they released their second album called "Lost From Love". In november the will be touring China again.

5) Flare is also a humor based band/comedy troupe from Upstate New York. They have never formally released any material however a few recordings are available online as well as several comedic videos.
