VINYL FORMAT. Cobalt Cranes are not afraid to tread rock 'n roll's slippery slopes. Balancing electrocuting lo-fi garage punk with melodic riffed-out rock, they named themselves after a fictional gang that is prone to getting in back alley knife fights. Cobalt Cranes adopted this group mentality and hit the road. Cobalt Cranes began as a home recording project when Kate Clover (bass, vocals) and Tim Foley (guitar, vocals) bonded over 60's garage punk and classic rock. Recently laid off and in between school the duo began recording in Tim's LA apartment. They didn't get a single complaint from neighbors about the noise, and believed that to be a good sign. The two felt it was time to form a live band, and after some searching and a few line up changes they found drummer Danny Rossi.
