The incredible third album from Victoria, BC's knockdown dragout. Every Frog Eyes album is an exercise in entropy, disintegrating as it overwhelms you with its size, but The Folded Palm is positively shattering in its decay and titanic in its stature. The music of Frog Eyes is strange, in the way that the music of The Birthday Party, Tom Waits, The Fall or Beefheart can be strange. Jarring, cryptic, unsettling, imaginative and unforgettable.
