2006, Sub Pop Records
After all the years the Grifters have been playing together, they can't help but sound like a band. That wasn't always the case, but on Full Blown Possession, they sound seasoned, sure of themselves, and much more into the task of making a concise disc. Sweetest Thing is an acoustic country-blues, while Re-Entry Blues rocks you with just the right attitude to make you want to hear it again and again. If it's true that alt-rock has gone mainstream, then the Grifters have all oars in the water and are paddling ahead at full speed. ~ James Chrispell, All Music Guide
