Gentlemen, Start Your Engines

After their first album, 'A Sad Ride On The Line,' Favez has garnered a lot of well-deserved praise. With 'Gentlemen' Favez departs a bit from the more quiet, understated tunes to deliver tracks that are much harder rocking yet just as compassionate as their debut. Lest you think adopting a more straightforward rocking approach might sacrifice the comparisons to Radiohead, you need not worry. Chris Wicky's vocals and songwriting still remain a strong element to Favez's compositions. This imported outfit from Switzerland has also been blowing kids away all summer with tracks on the Status Magazine Sampler and Doghouse/ BigWheel/ FueledbyRamen/ Buddyhead summer super sampler and will be promoting a video for the track 'Headed for the Ocean.'
