One (CD)
More of a trip down memory lane than anything else, One is the long-awaited reunion album by George Jones and Tammy Wynette, their first in 15 years. It's a pleasant listen, with both George and Tammy in fine voice. There are a few fine songs, particularly the title track and a lament about modern country radio called "They're Playing Our Song," but the main pleasure of the record is hearing George and Tammy together again after all these years. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine, All Music Guide
