Get The Horn

Along with Sweden's Hellacopters, Gluecifer follow in the tradition of adrenaline-soaked Americana rock from the frozen tundra's of Scandinavia. Even if this six-song sampler exclusively features previously released material, Get the Horn has it all: wailing, wah-wah peddled guitar solos and a hoot and hollering vocals, yet not one hint of freedom rock. How the albums of the MC5, Dead Boys, MC5, AC/DC, and Motorhead get imported to Gluecifer's home of Oslo, Norway is a wonder, but as long as EPs such as Get The Horn are conceived, how the influences get there is no real issue. ~ Mike DaRonco, All Music Guide
