Comes with a bonus copy of Vanity Theft's Anatomy EP!
The first exposure to Vanity Theft immediately left me thinking The Donnas had regrouped under a new name. It didn't take long to realize that this couldn't have been the case… because each and every song was awesome, rather than just one or two songs out of the whole album. In addition to the strong lineup of tracks on Get What You Came For, the catchy pop-rock riffs and clever lyrics also leave one desiring to hear more. The blend of everything that makes Vanity Theft seems… natural. The music has attitude, but not forced. The female quartet demonstrates their talent with just the perfect blend of pop and rock. Enough pop to catch one's attention, but enough rock to cause one to take their music seriously. And if you're one to generally ignore the all-girl band, take this time to reconsider your prejudice and get ready to rock. If you're having any doubts, check out "Limb From Limb" or "Anatomy," just two of my favorites from a solid album that I'm certain can get you to change your mind.
Get What You Came For is a great album, and a lot of fun. If you're anything like me, Get What you Came For will have you tapping your feet and bobbing your head before you realize that the album has already restarted… several times over. – Indie Rock Reviews
