Ghostigital

While Bj÷rk began her quest for avant pop stardom soon after the Sugarcubes split up, her trumpet-playing, shouting, and always-eccentric Cube mate Einar +rn Benediktsson (often just Einar +rn) took a decade off before returning in 2004 with his solo debut, Ghostigital, on the Honest Jons label. Recorded with Icelandic multi-instrumentalist Curver, the duo would later adopt the album's title as the name for any future projects. In 2005, Ghostigital the project would sign to fellow maverick Mike Patton's label Ipecac and recruit labelmates Mugison and DSlek along with Fall leader Mark E. Smith, the Jungle Brothers' Sensational, and avant-gardist Steve Beresford for collaborations.
