CHRISTOPHER have finally finished their album, their first for Parasol, after nearly fifteen year's worth of recording and releasing records on labels like Sarah Records, Slumberland, Vinyl Japan, Caff, Elefant, and our pals at Bus Stop, among others… A joyous collection of spectacular Brit Pop anthems, carried by graceful guitars and alluring atmospheres, lilting vocals and heavenly production values, towering orchestral arrangements, a scintillating assortment of pop tunes beholden to mainman Glenn Melia's brilliant songcrafting and a tasteful overabundance of reverbs and tremelos. Grandiose and a bit glam, like SUEDE and PULP; ergonomically correct like ECHO's 'Bring On the Dancing Horses'; with a hint of the more winsome side of psychedelic and progressive pop musics.
