In hindsight this disc can be seen as the first shift in Grouper's sound towards the more in-focus songs presented on Dragging A Dead Dear Up A Hill and away from the analog crunch found on the earlier entries of her discography. A perfect entry into her world of downer reverb and endless delay. Songs buried deep.
