Hall of Fame's debut release, straight from NYC's ever expanding "apartment rock" movement, treads similar aesthetic waters as the Tower Recordings and the Shadow Ring. Twelve improvised songs recorded on four- track and utilizing equal parts traditional instrumentation and a wealth of found sounds. Primitive rhythms are coupled with droning violin, skipping records, unplugged electric guitars and ambient noise. This experimental meandering is created by, but not exclusive to Dan Brown (God is My Co-Pilot, Salmon Skin) and Samara Lubeski (Sonora Pine, Salmon Skin, Metabolismus). Beautifully constructed mood music.
