VINYL FORMAT. Packaged in red cardstock felt paper with two-tone semi-opaque printing. This wonderful self-titled debut record by hHngedup is another in a series of raw and intimate sessions documented in Montreal on the 8-track reel-to-reel deck at Hotel2tango. The pieces on "Hangedup" range from borderline musique concrete experimentations to '80s new wave pop extrapolations, bound by a minimalist agenda throughout. Cameo appearances by electric bass and overdubbed effects provide some additional textures.
