There's a lot of rock history behind Adrian Shaw. His main claim to fame is
having been a member of HAWKWIND from '75 to '78, playing bass on Quark
Strangeness and Charm. Later, beginning in 1991, Shaw began an enduring
partnership with Nick Saloman in founding and fleshing out the BEVIS FROND.
Headcleaner is his third solo full-length on Woronzow (it's US release is on
Rubric). Adrian will be appearing with Bevis Frond as well as Country Joe &
the Fish at Terrastock IV in Seattle this November.
