Writing journal entries in the form of music, his songs constantly shift form one style to another, drawing influences from the likes of Slowdive, Do Make Say Think and Boards of Canada. His tracks blend together fingerpicked acoustic melodies, delay-saturated guitars, instruments sampled beyond recognition into ambient soundscapes and a hybrid of programmed and acoustic drumming. The vocal presence ranges from wordless melodies drenched in reverb to spoken word ramblings. The end result is music with a beauty that seems both obsessed over and organically created.
