Helicopter Remixes

Bloc Party’s stellar track “Helicopter” from their release Silent Alarm appears on this release in its original format as well as remixed by some of the indie rock’s hottest names. This is also the first of a series of remix releases where some of the world’s most famous DJs and bands remix a track by an established or up and coming artist on the indie rock scene. The series is called “Connect the Dots”. This release sees Weird Science duo (Steve Aoki of Dim Mak and Blake Miller of Moving Units) bring in Peaches for their remix and sees M.I.A.’s DJ and world famous DJ on his own accord DIPLO bust out his version of the popular Bloc Party track. The CD version also includes the Whitey remix previously released on the Vice/Dim Mak release of Bloc Party’s Silent Alarm Remixed as well as the original version of Helicopter which first appeared on Silent Alarm via Vice/Dim Mak.
