| This is an outstantding cd, with a very synth-based sound (it's really turned up on the mix, & most of the vocies used are bastard children of bad Euro dance notes, old kiddie cartoons, and dental instruments) and Gabe's "space guitar" drifts in and out of the stratosphere. Mark's vocals hit somewhere on the more understandable side of screech, not that you could interpret their meaning, even with the included lyric sheet. Listen closely to the background comments of the "inmates" on the first cd. The songs are quite well done, if difficult to swallow at first due to their complexity and quick time changes, and the mini cd is appealing. An overall must-have release...when is the next Holy Molar installment?? | |
