Hombre Lobo: Twelve Songs of Desire

VINYL FORMAT. The Mighty Mark Oliver Everett, aka E, is back with his first studio album in over four years. His last studio release, the double Blinking Lights and Other Revelations, was well lauded by all who heard, and E was clearly once again the man to beat. Since then he's released a live album featuring a strings section, a greatest hits, a B-sides album, he's written a book, and he was featured prominently in a PBS TV Special about his father. E's been a busy man despite making no new recordings available.

Homebre Lobo showcases E at his best. It's at times rock, at times dreamy pop, and at times experimental all rolled into one. It's as if E could write whatever kind of album he wanted, but he'd rather take a little bit of everything and make it work throughout a 40 minute opus.
