The Post-Parlo Split CD Series is off and running. Oregon is in the house. KIND OF LIKE SPITTING frontman Ben Barnett went down to Austin this past winter to record one of his songs in the Post-Parlo office, while the other is a Jeff London cover. The originial ('Beat Down the Kid') sounds so close, so intimate, that it gives you the impression Ben is sitting right in front of you, singing his saddest story and he just hopes you understand. You'll understand.

JEFF LONDON's tracks illustrate the trademark 'London sound'. His songs are intensely lyrical and poetic, yet at the same time interesting on their instrumental merits alone. Jeff's style has been compared to a potent mixture of Jonathan Richman and Elliott Smith. Not bad company at all...
