Venetian Snares (aka Aaron Funk) has grown vastly in popularity since last year's astounding Rossz Csillag Allat Szeletett. This mini-album is the follow up to Cavalcade Of Glee and consists of six tracks written by Aaron over the last 18 months. It once again shows Funk's versatility with form and mastery of his tools. Melody is at the fore recalling 2004's Huge Chrome Cylinder Box Unfolding, but the rhythms are still jackhammer heavy and wildly fluctuating. (godbrain.ch)
