Hot Little Hands
Hot Little Hands was established in Melbourne, Victoria in 2005 by Tim Harvey. Current members include Royce Akers, Raphael Hammond, Brigitte Hart and James Harvey. China Harvey was a founding member but left the group in 2007 to work in Indigenous Australian communities in far north Queensland.
They started gigging intensively in April 2006 at various nightclubs and pubs in Prahran, Fitzroy, Brunswick, Collingwood and the CBD. Their frequent local performances (including two live-to-air set on PBS fm, fundraisers for The Berry Street Foundation and the Australian Conservation Foundation) culminated with playing at the 2007 Chill Island Festival, the 2008 St Jerome's Laneway Festival and their own Australian national tour of the same year.
