Restock. This is Hot Hot Heat's 2nd release and this time they journey much deeper into the sounds of dark-wave. Again, they have the hint of rock and roll but this time synths are used in a much greater degree than in their 1st 7". The vocals once again remind me of something like early Audience and VSS style vocals. The only thing that bugs me about this is the fact that there are some 'Locust' sounding keyboards in here and it is same with the Red Light Sting's side. TRLS play much more louder music and I really wouldn't call it dark or new-wave. Maybe something like synth-wave or some shit - I don't know. But the rock is much louder here and it sounds like HHH but much louder. Vocals vary from singing to shouting to full on screaming. This is very nice. It's good to see good music come out of Canada.but most any band that I have heard and comes from Canada is pretty damn good.
