Hard Nips have rolled in from the Far East brandishing a riff-heavy post-punk sound laced with the angelic straining of vocalist Yoko Sawai. With their magnetic stage performance and blatant camaraderie the Brooklyn based foursome has blazed a trail to the hottest posts in town. They played Williamsburg Fashion Week and a CMJ gig featuring all manner of celebrities from Sean Lennon to TVotR's Tunde Adebimpe. They've shared the stage with local hot shits Dragons of Zynth and Awesome Color. Shucks, they even won a spot on The Onion's "2009: The Year in Band Names." All this in less than a year from their formation AND despite a bike accident that literally shattered Emi's hi-hat leg - she certainly owes much of her recovery to visits from THE Neil Diamond. Hard Nips is riding high on the realization that when you're in a great rock band with your best friends, nothing else really matters.
