Rotating experimental mono-tonal orchestrations from this Athens GA outfit, Kindercore's answer to Tortoise and Macha, and it's about time! Layer upon layer of melodic drone formations, expressive and soothing, a 72 minute excerpt of what was really a 2-hour plus opus, thrumming with an arsenal of analogue synthery, strings, vocoder, mellotron, pianos, guitars, minimal percussion, and pedal steel… A multitude of Athen's finest musicians coming into the studio for a scintillating one-chord strum-marathon, which by definition should be sleep-inducing, but it's the errors and discrepancies which make this such a stunner! Reminiscent of the most droney, orchestral work of Yo La Tengo, Spiritualized, Tortoise, Macha!
