Immediate Action Vol. 6: Scarlet Diva Remixes

John Hughes' upcoming Scarlet Diva soundtrack is reworked by fellow Hefty artists Savath & Savalis and Telfon Tel Aviv. Scarlet Diva is an Italian film (not yet released in the US) by Asia Argento that was scored by John Hughes. The remixes are a preview of the upcoming release, due out next year on Hefty. Although the soundtrack is a more live approach than John Hughes has used recently, the remixes definitely have an electronic slant. Savath & Savalas is the project of Scott Herren (Prefuse 73 on Warp, Delarosa + Asora on Schematic). Telefon Tel Aviv makes their Hefty debut with their remix. They recently completed work scoring the Touchtone film New Port South, as well as completing remix work for the upcoming Nine Inch Nails remix EP. The New Orleans-based duo are currently collaborating with Slicker and completing work on their full length, Fahrenheit Fair Enough for Hefty, due out early 2001.
