Insound Tour Support Series, Vol. 5

The minute we heard the Shyness Clinic's debut full-length "Sea of Redlights" (Espo Records) we knew that we had to ask them to do a tour support EP for us no matter what. The band's music is as diverse as it is captivating. This EP contains five exclusive tracks and represent an impressive progression for the band in terms of musicianship and songwriting. From track #1's pounding drumbeats to track #4's emotionally mellow vocals (sort of reminiscent of a less whiny Tim Kinsella) and instrumentations, the Shyness Clinic know when to take the tone down and when to wail. We've read about comparisons to Christie Front Drive and Karate...that's a start. Hauntingly beautiful to tauntingly fun. An amazing EP.
