2009, Barsuk Records
Ramona Falls is Brent Knopf's first musical venture outside his role as part of acclaimed Portland, OR indie rock trio Menomena.
Fans of Menomena (which include such tastemakers as Pitchfork and the New York Times, among many others) will quickly identify similarities between the music on Intuit and Knopf's previous work, but for this new project - named after a childhood hiking trail on Mt. Hood - Knopf collaborated extensively with musicians in Portland and New York with extraordinary and exciting results.
Knopf has a cat, a raging chocolate addiction, and is remarkably good-looking (that's him with the bird's flying out of his mouth on the cover).
