VINYL FORMAT. 2007's Inventions for the New Season reinvented Maserati as a motorik psych-rock band with a disco ball for a kick drum. Here, the band commissioned remixes by two producers most likely to shove their songs onto the dance floor feet first. Track one features the dirty disco of Thee Loving Hand Remix by Tim Goldsworthy of The DFA, Hercules, and Love Affair. Track two's equally club-friendly remix by Justin Van Der Volgen maintains the sweaty atmosphere of the original, but removes the top-down drive in favor of a midnight jog. Limited edition of 1,000 copies.
