Written in the haunted basement of a converted church and inspired by a ghostly apparition of Elvis, Invincible Criminal is the new LP from Minneapolis' piano-rocker Mark Mallman. It features longtime friend/Hold Steady singer Craig Finn contributing vocals on "You're Never Alone in New York" and Cloud Cult violinst Shannon Frid duets on "In These Times of Harsh Economy" - a chilling ballad about John Dillinger's Lady in Red, Anna Sage.
