Pummeling swamp-garage, wolfman blues, angry acid trips, psyched-out noise pop and lovelorn snarls, all on one fine 7". "I Gotta Get" is Woven Bones at their pummeling best, all overdrive and reverb - noise that sticks to the bones. AA-Side "Hey Kid" is the band's most honest stab at pop yet - albeit psyched-out noise-pop more in the tradition of Nirvana than the Go-Gos.
