24 Hour Revenge Therapy (CD)
"More trials and tribulations than an average episode of Melrose Place, Jawbreaker continues to explore their personal struggles on their third album, fittingly titled 24 Hour Revenge Therapy. Continuing on the Jawbreaker tradition of poetic lyrics that provide a mental image to each song, the band deals with their endeavors through music instead of wallowing in them, making this record not entirely bleak. Providing the perfect flow of temperamental pop to go along with these stories is proof enough that 24 Hour Revenge Therapy is the pivot of Jawbreaker's creative output." ?All Music Guide

| Perhaps one of my favorite albums of all time. 24 hr Revenge Therapy is lyrical and musical genius. If you missed the Jawbreaker boat, this is a MUST own. | |

| This is pretty much one of the best records ever made in any genre as far as I?m concerned. I?ve been listening to it a lot again recently and realizing that most bands today just don?t even compare. Songs like ?Boxcar? call out all the posers in the music scene while saying Jawbreaker themselves don?t considers themselves punk rock. ?Indictment? is pure pop bliss and all these new pop punk bands could learn a thing or two from ?The Boat Dreams from the Hill?. This record is Jawbreaker at their best. | |

| 24 hour revenge therapy is quite possibly jawbreaker at their best. as amazing as bivouac, dear you, and the live albums were, for some reason 24 hour seems like the one everybody likes. and not without justification. songs like "jinx removing" and "in sadding around" showcase blake's lyrical talent. this cd has probably never left my cd player for the entire time i've owned it (which has been a while, now.) if you are just starting out with jawbreaker, this is the one to go with. the "i'm punker than you" crowd dropped jawbreaker at the mention of "major label", not realizing the best was yet to come. sadly jawbreaker no longer exists, but bands like texas is the reason and jets to brazil remind me why i liked jawbreaker so much in the first place. | |
