

Jennifer O'Connor
Born in a small town in Connecticut, singer/songwriter Jennifer O'Connor, who moved with her family to Florida right before she started high school, was always interested in music, but it wasn't until 1996, after she had finished college in Atlanta, that she wrote her first song for a band she was in at the time. In 1999 she moved to New York City and decided to pursue a solo career, and in 2002 her self-titled debut was released, garnering her comparisons to both Liz Phair and Mazzy Star.
