2012, IHIPHOP
"Don't be fooled. Jet Life: Jet World Order, is not a Curren$y album. He might be the only rapper casual hip-hop fans might recognize on the track list, but this one is designed to give some of the weed rap spotlight to the rest of the Jet Life crew. Out of the 13 songs on the album, the self-proclaimed "hot spitta" only supplies his talent on three. With the group's headliner appearing on so few tracks, this one definitely had the potential to be a disappointment. Luckily for the largely independent Jet Life Recording imprint, it isn't.
In Curren$y's absence, the rest of the Jet Life family (Trademark Da Skydiver, Young Roddy, Smoke DZA, Sir Michael Rocks, Fiend, Nesby Phips, Corner Boy P, and Street Wiz…for those of you who don't know) steps up admirably. From start to finish, Jet World Order is exactly what fans should expect: women, working hard to come up in hip-hop, and being really, really high while doing both of those things. For fans of Curren$y and his brand of music, you can probably stop reading now and just go grab the album. You're going to love it." – www.thisbeatgoes.com
