Spain's Moving Pictures make their US debut on Shelflife with their cdep "Joie de Vivre." This eight track wonder is filled with Sarah Records-esque bossa pop influenced by Bridge, France Gall, Cardigans, Françoise Hardy, Shoestrings, Laura Watling, Would-Be-Goods, and others. Moving Pictures are one of Spain's premiere pop/bossa nova groups as they combine warm, jazzy sounds with sweet, child-like female vocals. We've come to love the Moving Pictures over the years.
