Kid Lunch's self-titled debut on Teenage USA is a pleasant mix of influences -- from Neil Young to Matthew Sweet to Big Star -- and the mellow indie-pop blend works well. Standouts like Green Dream, Change the Revolution, Sha La La and Theme from 'Let's Go!' are pure pop grooves with earnest lyrics to match.
