It's been two years since the last album of new material from Austin's American Analog Set. Hot on the heels of their recent singles compilation (Trance Syndicate) and 7" (Tiger Style), the band returns with 12 beautiful tracks that will soothe you into a blissful state of musical euphoria. The AmAnSet continue where The Golden Band left off - the band has opted for shorter, poppier tracks as opposed to the band's early days of cosmic jams and loops. Unlike Golden Band, Know By Heart contains spurts of musical experimentation in tracks like the Neu!-esque "Like Foxes Through Fences" and even some classic rock influences a la Fleetwood Mac in tracks like "Kindness of Strangers".
