Konrad is the American song constructionist Jeffrey Konrad who puzzles together his unique brand of vocal poetics with a sorted sonic DNA that exhibits strains of indie and electro. In the past he's recorded as an 8-bit obsessed electronica musician known as Robot Usa as well as a folksy singer-songwriter called Nigel Jeffrey who cut an album called Struggle in the Hive released on Future Appletree. Konrad started his own record label Radical Turf in 2004 with the goal of releasing compilation albums from innovative underground electronic artists. Over five published releases and 28 artists later, Jeffrey Konrad's musical projects continue to evolve with his first official debut solo album: Konrad Loose Canyons.
