Lark Marvels

VINYL FORMAT. Having played shows last year with Black Moth Super Rainbow, Dark Meat, and Four Tet, the band's five-song demo garnered immediate comparisons to The United States of America, White Noise, and Silver Apples with its vintage electronics, dense arrangements and flashes of pop melody. But this is no '60s psych revival. If it were a retro stab, it would owe as much to surf rock, Herbie Hancock, or King Crimson, but it's a 21st century record where drums glitch out and futuristic synth sounds jump out of nowhere.
