A.G. PennypackerAfter waiting what seemed like years (less than two years actually) "Last Light" is now released and I'm very impressed with it. After changing up the lineup a bit, the new mpPA sound really comes out on this record. There's a bit more energy, more looseness and generally more fun. They're not afraid to go into various directions every now and then. Once again, matt pond's lyrics are sincere, bittersweet, and personal, complementing the poppy hooks and well-constructed songs. As a first time producer, matt pond has most definitely succeeded.
