VINYL FORMAT. This collection of live tracks and other odds and ends was supposed to have marked the end for SNFU. The band did stick with their plan to break up soon after the release of the record and a farewell tour, but public demand and boredom eventually drove founders Mr. Chi Pig and Brent "Bunt" Welke back to the studio. The re-formed SNFU that recorded for Epitaph Records and others, still showed plenty of skate punk energy and wit, but the band's '80s records make up the most musically significant section of their catalogue. Originally released in a limited run on purple vinyl, The Last of the Big Suspenders is something of a prized rarity. -Vincent Jeffries allmusic.com
