Every band has a story, and the story of TIGHT BRO'S FROM WAY BACK WHEN is their jaw-dropping live show. A constant whirlwind of activity and raw power that gives you that headrush that you get from controlled chaos. People fall in love with them on the strength of their live show, and since they have the good sense to limit themselves to mostly all-ages shows, they continue to build a strong following of younger fans, the most dedicated and passionate fans you can have. TBFWBW have toured six times in the last few years, and will be embarking on a west coast tour a month or so before the time of this release, followed by a full US tour this summer.

TIGHT BRO'S FROM WAY BACK WHEN is a five guy band from Olympia, WA. They are a frantic hard rock/punk rock band in the great northwestern rock tradition. Not retro, but timeless. People have been known to compare them to AC/DC, THE MC5 and MOTORHEAD. The band see it more like an MC5/LITTLE RICHARD/BLACK FLAG kind of mangle. The band also feature members of BEHEAD THE PROPHET NO LORD SHALL LIVE and KARP, and you can hear the same urges here.

This is TBFWBW's second dynamic album on Kill Rock Stars. Same as before, this album was recorded by Stuart Hallerman at Avast! in Seattle. It captures the high energy dual-lead-guitar and maniac lead singer rock and roll vibe of their live show, while also highlighting more creative use of the studio, with more auxiliary percussion, slide guitar, stuff recorded backwards. Psychedelic maybe? Like a lawnmower.
