Kill Rock Stars is very proud to present one of the most sought-after, critically acclaimed pieces of post-punk history. Out-of-print for almost a decade now and going for hundreds of dollars at auctions and conventions, the complete works of KLEENEX/LILIPUT are now available once again. This legendary pre-riot-grrl Swiss band thrived in the glory days of post-punk (late '70s/early '80s), releasing a slew of singles and two albums (expensive collectors' items now) through Rough Trade. They made a splash across Europe with the wild, funny, almost child-like way they played, wrote, and sang. Their records made the English charts, while the media had great interest in what they dubbed "the new SLITS." Kleenex/Liliput have toured with with the RAINCOATS, SWELL MAPS, SPIZZ ENERGI, SUBWAY SECT, SCRITTI POLLITTI, and RED KRAYOLA among others. Not surprisingly, they are ranked as not only one of the most influential female bands of the era but one of the finest bands of the time, period.
