2009, Saturday Night Sunday Morning
Here is the entire now legendary 1 hour set Six.byseven played at Glastonbury in 2008. They didn't know it at the time, but this would be Six.byseven's penultimate show in a 16 year career. Here is what Mark Beaumont wrote about the band on the NME website after witnessing the show: 'For the last few Glastonburys Six By Seven have played peripheral sets at random stages around the site and I couldn't recommend more that you catch them next year, wherever they may be.
Here's a band long since forgotten by the hype machine who have steadfastly continued making fantastically melodic post-rock noise that's the kind of music that Radiohead, Interpol and even, to a degree, Massive Attack think they're making. Feral, epic, ferocious and loud as My Bloody Valentine playing in a wind tunnel, SXS were the best band I saw this weekend, effortlessly eclipsing far more hype-heaped acts on the main stages.'
