Guitar hero and Chicago native Mike Bloomfield was one of the first great white blues guitarists to rise to fame in the sixties, simultaneously jump-starting a renewed interest in the vibrant Chicago blues scene. Here Bloomfield, who was just 21 at the time, can be heard along with a young Charlie Musselwhite on harmonica and Sid Warner on bass, playing a mix of traditional blues along with his own numbers. This is one of Bloomfield's earliest recordings.
