VINYL FORMAT. Southern Lord is proud to present the vinyl reissue of Saint Vitus' essential album Live. Saint Vitus were THE premiere American doom metal act of the '80s. Along with Trouble, Pentagram and the Obsessed, Vitus were pioneers of true-Doom Metal. They were one of the first to fuse the behemoth riffage and bleak atmosphere of Black Sabbath with the desperate aggression of punk rock ala Black Flag. Originally captured on tape in Germany on November 10th, 1989, and featuring many classic Vitus tunes like "Living Backwards," "Born Too Late," "White Stallions," "Mystic Lady," "Dying Inside" and more!
