For Years Young has been archiving his many unreleased songs. Live at the Fillmore East is the first release of Neil Young's archive performance series. Just as Dylan's Bootleg Series focuses on a particular time Live at the Fillmore East features Young's 1970 tour with Crazy Horse in support of Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere, his first tour with the band.
