2003, Earmark
Recorded live at London's legendary Roxy Club in April 1977, just a month before going into the studio to record their debut on NEMS. Their straightforward melodic style of punk earned them the reputation as the Beatles of punk rock. But, despite being one of the most talented bands to embody the 77 punk spirit, they would remain largely unknown except to a small but fanatic following. This early live recording captured at London's punk rock mecca, catches the band at its wittiest & most energetic, playing rare live versions of the punk classics that would soon appear on their groundbreaking self-titled debut & their equally influential follow-up "Alternative Chartbusters". 180gm
